Q: Who should I contact for more information?
A: Contact Pee Dee Electric for all of your questions about GreenPower.

Q: How will I be billed?
A: Your GreenPower charge will be listed on your monthly energy bill as a line item.

Q: How will my electricity bill be calculated?
A: Usage rate: Your residential rate plus $3 for each 100kWh block of GreenPower. Taxes and Fees: You must pay all applicable federal, state, and local taxes as well as any applicable fees.

  • Example:
    $86.50 - monthly electricity cost
    $3.00 - GreenPower Premium
    $89.50 - total

Q: Will my electricity rates change over time?
A: Rates are set by Pee Dee Electric's Board of Directors and are subject to change.

Q: What fuel sources will be used to generate my power?
A: Pee Dee Electric Cooperative purchases power from Santee Cooper. The Power Content Label shows the resource mix projected for this year from Santee Cooper.

Q: If I want to terminate this agreement/contract, what is the termination fee?
A: There is no termination fee.

Q: What length of agreement/contract is required?
A:
The GreenPower Program is voluntary. You can cancel or change your participation in GreenPower at any time.

Q: What other fees might be charged?
A:
None.
