PDEC is offering members a new payment option!

The pre-pay program helps member-owners manage their electric account, monitor their electricity consumption and purchase power when they need it.

THE BENEFITS

Consumers who are unable or unwilling to pay the required service deposit to establish or maintain electric service enjoy immediate benefits with the prepaid program – no deposits are required.

For a new member, an initial $85 payment includes the required membership and connect fees, as well as $50 toward electricity use.

MONITOR ELECTRICITY USE

Statistics indicate prepaid electricity programs help lower electric consumption due to member’s awareness of their usage.  Therefore, any members interested in monitoring and lowering their electric usage and costs would benefit from the PAY IT FORWARD program.

MANAGE ACCOUNT

Some consumers find it easier to make weekly or bi-weekly payments rather than one large payment each month.  PDEC makes it easy and convenient to monitor both usage and credit balance online and/or phone.

To ensure easy and efficient account management, members choose the method(s) by which PDEC sends notices regarding the credit balance and need for payment to avoid service interruption.  These options include e-mail and phone calls.

Members may also pay by any method available to other members:  E-Bill/online, Pay by Phone, drop boxes, regular mail or in person at either office.
